[2023/03/08 16:47] Alicia Frakture: No we here to fix oven. Three guys let us in to do the work.
[2023/03/16 17:08] Sonja Bikergrrl: ...that's it, yes, just found the log

[2023/03/16 17:10] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Good! You fix ovens, Grishnak want pies!"
[2023/03/16 17:11] Alicia Frakture: Leesha looks around which one grishnak?
[2023/03/16 17:12] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Which one Grishnak!" "Silly, Grishnak big boss, no annoy big boss!"
[2023/03/16 17:12] Alicia Frakture: Need Grishnak to send you out so we can fix ovens., gonna need apples for pies once done.
[2023/03/16 17:13] Sonja Bikergrrl: "You want us go? We go fetch apples?"
[2023/03/16 17:14] Alicia Frakture: /me nods." You want pies? plus if we working and we trip over someone could burn the place down and then no pie for anyone especially Grishnak.
[2023/03/16 17:15] Sonja Bikergrrl: "This bad thing. We go, you fix, we get apples." They make themselves scarce.
[2023/03/16 17:16] Alicia Frakture: Once they are scarce Leesha looks around.."I'll make repairs you two search... How is this working?"
[17:20] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben will rub her forehead. "Wow, ok. yeah, that went well. I'll go search."

[17:22] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan searches, finds only apple pie ingredients and coal

[17:23] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben searches, finds pie tins, cardboard boxes, ribbons, mouldy apples
[17:23] QKR Mecha: Leesha is going to go and check the ovens. are these wood burning ovens?
[17:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: standard industrial sized ovens, coal goes in, pies go in uncooked, come out cooked
[17:24] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: She does her best to clean off the usable pie tins. "No recipe yet."
[17:24] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan frowns. "And no tract."
[17:26] QKR Mecha: Leesha will start looking in and around the ovens... Is there anything actually wrong with the ovens?
[17:26] QKR Mecha: She has a plan >:
[17:27] Sonja Bikergrrl: Other than needing a good thorough cleaning, probably not much.
[17:28] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: How many doors are in this kitchen?
[17:28] Sonja Bikergrrl: the ones you came in by, and the stairs up
[17:28] QKR Mecha: Looks like we go up
[17:29] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Good to know we can cook in a pinch though."
[17:29] QKR Mecha: Leesha is grabbing a bit of the coal dust and soot from an oven and smears it on her face."You two want in on this? I have an idea."
[17:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: you go up... and find Grannys' apartment, once quite homely, turned into a goblin grotto. Hunting trophies and trash and furs lie in heaps, and in the middle of it all, the biggest and meanest looking creature you've seen yet, and what look like his two leiutenants, one spitting on the other as he indulges in the favourite goblin past-time of insulting ones' mother. The big mean one glares at you hatefully
[17:31] Sonja Bikergrrl: You could be in trouble.
[17:31] QKR Mecha: You Grishnak?
[17:32] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben blinks, uneasy about getting that much soot on her, and instead has gone right up the stairs directly, pausing at Grishnak and pondering what her options to get out of this one ar.
[17:32] Sonja Bikergrrl: The big one growls menacingly and paces forwards, his two sidekicks flanking him. "Me Grishnak, who you?"
[17:32] QKR Mecha: Oven repair
[17:33] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Debben scans the room, particularly those hunting trophies to see what they actually have there
[17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: The big guy does not seem convinced. "Oven repair? You dead repair!" The two beside him nod and nod. "Enough time on pies, we eat these! Much better!"
[17:34] Sonja Bikergrrl: The "trophies" are mostly just animal hides, skulls, and what look like totems from other small tribes.
[17:35] QKR Mecha: Hold it, hold it before you do think about it. eat us and we gone and then no pies. you lose out in long run
[17:35] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Huh! Suit Grishnak fine!" The big guy hefts his spear
[17:35] QKR Mecha: Maybe they wrong about Mighty Grishnak
[17:36] QKR Mecha: *Starting to think I should have played a rogue or a bard*
[17:36] Sonja Bikergrrl: The big guy pauses. "Maybe who wrong? Wrong who?"
[17:37] QKR Mecha: Those who sent me to you. They say Grishnak powerful and genius and powerful. Always looking ahead.
[17:38] Sonja Bikergrrl: The big guy stands tall. "Grishnak big, powerful! Me looking ahead, kill you as example!"
[17:38] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "But who is it supposed to be an example to? No one cares if you kill us, it doesn't impress anyone."
[17:39] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Grishnak not care about that! Grishnak only care you dead!" He advances, spear raised, the two others backing him up and keeping pace.
[17:40] QKR Mecha: Leesha nods to Debben. "She right plus if you let us live we can spread word of your greatness. Think of those who could come and be loyal to Grishnak. They could bring more food."
[17:41] QKR Mecha: Grishnak could have a mightier army than he have now!
[17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Grishnak doesn't seem interested in further conversation, he raises his spear and charges, followed by his two allies. "Grishnak have you, eat you!"
[17:41] Sonja Bikergrrl: Time to roll initative - d12
[17:42] D12: Sonja Bikergrrl rolls 10
[17:42] D12: Alicia Frakture rolls 8
[17:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Oooh. Bad luck.

[17:42] Sonja Bikergrrl: Grishnak stabs at Leesha - misses completely

[17:43] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two others stab at Debben and Megan - Debben evades the stroke, Megan gets hit and stabbed quite badly - again!
[17:45] QKR Mecha: Leesha doesn't have her wrench out so she is just going to try to punch Debben going for his nose

[17:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: you're punching Debben?
[17:45] Sonja Bikergrrl: Miss :/
[17:45] QKR Mecha: not Debben Grishnak
[17:45] QKR Mecha: SOrry

[17:49] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Starting to deeply panic now, she dodges towards some of those sharp looking hunting trophies, or the small ones in case any are magical, then picks one up and chucks it into Grisnak's face!
[17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: gonna need a d20...
[17:49] Sonja Bikergrrl: 13 or better
[17:50] D20: MidnightMinion Cyberstar rolls 8
[17:50] D20: Alicia Frakture rolls 3
[17:51] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: That is not better
[17:51] QKR Mecha: Already disliking the dice*
[17:51] Sonja Bikergrrl: the dice gods are not smiling on you again...

[17:52] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: Welp Leesha, maybe we'll be a thief in the next life
[17:52] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan thrusts at her attacker. The sword doesn't so much as connect as completely decapitate the creature, who stands there spraying blood about the place while his head bounces off the far wall

[17:53] Sonja Bikergrrl: The monsters' morale breaks. They just look at each other and scream. "BBBBLLLLAAAAAHHH!" "RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!"
[17:54] QKR Mecha: Is there a window?*
[17:54] Sonja Bikergrrl: A few, yes, which have been boarded or covered in sack cloth (rather crudely)
[17:57] QKR Mecha: Leesha runs to one of the sack cloth windows as the monsters run and leaning out."They're coming keep them running!" she says to the trees, hoping they hear her and help
[17:57] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Hah! We have bested your ruler, and claimed his throne!" She yells to the other goblins who are paniced, trying to make the best of Megans swing.
[17:57] Sonja Bikergrrl: The two creatures aren't paying attention to you; they're far too panicked
[17:57] D20: Sonja Bikergrrl rolls 16

[17:58] QKR Mecha: *Wait it was Grishnak and his two minions right? One dead, does that mean Grishnak and his minion are the ones panicking and running?*
[18:00] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan takes a swipe at the bigger one as he runs past to get to the stairs. There's a loud -hack- of the sword cleaving into flesh and bone, and the leader tumbles down the stairs in a tangle of arms and legs and lies in a heap. The other one just bolts past and literally flies down the stairs and through the kitchen, screaming, "Grishak dead! Run away! We all going to die!" Out of the windows you can see the handful of remaining creatures taking this advice and scattering in all directions
[18:01] Sonja Bikergrrl: the dice gods smiled at the end!
[18:02] QKR Mecha rushes over to Megan."Wow.. just wow you kicked their ass. How are you doing?'
[18:02] Sonja Bikergrrl: She coughs up a mouthful of blood, and just looks pale and scared, ready to faint
[18:03] Sonja Bikergrrl: (This is her second near death experience.)
[18:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: "Think 'm gonna pass out..." she says, letting her sword clatter to the ground and stumbling down the stairs
[18:04] D20: Sonja Bikergrrl rolls 7
[18:04] QKR Mecha: Leesha is going to try and catch her
[18:04] Sonja Bikergrrl: Debben?
[18:04] D20: Alicia Frakture rolls 12
[18:05] MidnightMinion Cyberstar: "Ah shit," she moves to try to catch Megan as well. "What'd she do to herself with that stunt?"
[18:06] Sonja Bikergrrl: Megan stumbles down the stairs and literally falls to hands and knees by the fallen big guy, and paws at him, finally pulling out a torn piece of parchment. "At least... got the rest... of the tract...." she slumps down, bleeding heavily.
